Installation & Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Installation and Commissioning Engineer with a background in mechanical engineering, environmental engineering or a relevant discipline to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the installation, testing, and commissioning of large water and wastewater treatment plants, ensuring systems function efficiently and meet all required standards.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the installation, assembly, and commissioning of mechanical equipment in water and wastewater treatment plants.

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.

  • Conduct system performance testing, troubleshooting, and optimization.

  • Work closely with design teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including test reports and progress updates.

  • Provide technical support and training to operational staff.

  • Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are followed during installation and commissioning activities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience in installation and commissioning of large water and wastewater treatment plants.

  • Experience in the water and wastewater treatment processes.

  • Strong understanding of pumps, piping systems, valves, and other mechanical components used in wastewater treatment.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&IDs.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

  • Experience working with SCADA systems and automation in wastewater treatment plants is preferred.

  • Strong communication skills to interact with multidisciplinary teams and clients is preferred.
